P5 supports two primary connection methods:

USB-C to USB-C: If your laptop has a full-function USB-C port that supports both power and video output, a single USB-C cable is sufficient for both display and power.

HDMI + USB-C: If your laptop does not support video output via USB-C, use an HDMI to USB-C cable for video and a USB-A to USB-C cable for power.

If the screen does not light up, ensure the HDMI cable is connected to P5’s USB-C with DP port.

P5 is compatible with multiple devices:

Windows and Linux laptops support plug-and-play via USB-C or HDMI.

MacBooks with M1/M2 chips support only one external display, while M1 Pro/Max and M2 Pro/Max models allow multiple displays.

Gaming consoles such as Switch, PS5, and Xbox can connect via HDMI for a secondary gaming screen.

Android smartphones supporting Samsung DEX, Huawei EMUI, and TNT can be used in desktop mode with a single USB-C connection.

For Windows:

Right-click the desktop and select "Display Settings".

Under "Multiple Displays", choose "Extend these displays" for dual-screen multitasking.

Arrange the screens according to preference and set the resolution to 1920×1080P for optimal clarity.

For Android (Samsung DEX, Huawei EMUI, TNT), connect via USB-C and enable Desktop Mode in device settings.

If using USB-C, confirm that the laptop’s USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. If using HDMI, ensure the cable is plugged into P5’s USB-C with DP port. Reconnect all cables and restart the laptop. If using a USB hub, connect P5 directly to avoid compatibility issues.

Flickering or power loss usually occurs due to insufficient power supply. If your laptop’s USB-C port cannot provide enough power, connect an external power adapter. Check that all HDMI and USB cables are securely connected. Reducing brightness settings through P5’s menu can lower power consumption.

P5 supports both landscape and portrait modes. Adjust the detachable stand to a vertical position, then change the screen orientation settings in Windows under "Display Settings" or in Mac/Linux under "Screen Arrangement".

P5 includes one built-in speaker for basic audio playback. For better sound quality, use wired headphones or speakers via the 3.5mm AUX port or route audio through your laptop or gaming console’s speakers. Volume can be adjusted through P5’s on-screen menu.

P5 features a high-strength aluminum alloy and PC body, ensuring durability while remaining lightweight. Its Kevlar-textured anodized finish prevents scratches. The detachable stand doubles as a protective cover, making it ideal for travel and mobile work setups.

If connected via USB-C to USB-C, P5 draws power directly from the laptop. If using HDMI, a USB-A to USB-C cable is required for power. For uninterrupted use during gaming or extended tasks, an external PD power adapter is recommended.
